Owned and operated by the esteemed Amici family, renowned for their hospitality ventures in the region, La Vista Resort Agriturismo is the latest addition to their repertoire. At the helm of the culinary experience is Chef Josè Amici, whose innovative yet rooted approach to cooking showcases the freshest seafood sourced directly from the nearby Lazio coast and the family's own production of cured meats, cheese and jams. Collaborating with his sister Arianna, who oversees the dining area and brother Damiano who, along with the other two siblings, oversees the three agritourisms, Josè curates a menu that celebrates the region's culinary heritage while incorporating modern twists. From delectable appetizer selections, pasta dishes and main courses, each creation reflects the Amici family's commitment to authenticity and quality.
A Little Bit of History
Founded in 1994 by Onesto, Lidia, Edoardo, and Paola, Agriturismo Monte due Torri emerged as a beacon of excellence in the realm of Italian cuisine. With a steadfast commitment to quality and sustainability, their journey continued to flourish over the years. In 2003, they expanded their horizons with the acquisition of Colli di San Paolo agricultural company, where the fertile land was transformed into vineyards and olive groves. This marked the genesis of Agriturismo Il Borgo Ariccia, the second agritourism, which quickly garnered acclaim for its farm-fresh produce and artisanal delights. In 2021, they embarked on a new chapter with the acquisition of La Vista, the family's third farm, heralding a culinary offering infused with the bounty of seafood from the shores of Lazio. It is here, amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the region, that they continue to uphold the unwavering commitment to excellence.
At the heart of their culinary philosophy lies the belief that great food starts with the finest ingredients. That's why they take great pride in producing everything in-house, from pasta and bread to cheeses and cured meats. The flour used in the kitchen is sourced from the wheat grown on their own fields in Via Colli San Paolo and Via Prelatura, ensuring freshness and great flavor. Similarly, their wine is a testament to the dedication and expertise of their winemakers, who meticulously tend to the vineyards of Via Colli San Paolo and Via Prelatura to produce wines of excellent quality. This focus on quality also reflects on their olive oil which are produced from their olive trees. From February 2023, they have expanded their repertoire to include artisanal cheeses and cured meats, further enhancing the depth their culinary offerings. From farm to table, they are dedicated to preserving the rich culinary heritage of their region while embracing innovation and sustainability.
